Does your company offer any discounts to the posted shop rates?
Yes. We will reduce shop prices if a customer is getting multiple jobs done on the same vehicle. For example: if a car were to come in for a paint job, engine modifications and interior work, we would work with the customer to help them get as much done within their budget as possible by adjusting our pricing.
Do you do all your service in house or do you source them out?
We do all of our metal fabrication, welding, paint, body work, engine building, stitching of our our own interiors, electrical, braking systems and drivelines in house. We truly are a one stop supershop.
What is the difference between rejuvenation and restoration?
Rejuvenation involves a thorough clean up of the areas where the vehicle is showing wear and tear. This could include cutting, polishing and paint, partial paint work, engine tuning and repairing interior. This will rejuvenate the car back to tip top shape for your driving enjoyment.
Restoration involves the vehicle being totally torn down from bumper to bumper and when we are done with it the vehicle will be back to the same shape as if it just left the assembly line for the first time.
Do you build custom motocycles?
Yes. Our bikes are far from cookie cutter. From custom colour schemes, to custom frames and billet parts, there are no limits to the motorcycles and choppers that we build at Radical. When building a bike, we take every detail into consideration,
Do you build regular stock engines?
Yes. We build any thing from original flat head engines to regular chevy small blocks. Our specialty is performance engines which include supercharged engines, turbo charged engines and nitrous fuelled engines.
How does a customer pay you for larger jobs?
We can be very flexible with our clients. At the beginning of the job, we will sit down and work out a payment schedule. Most jobs require a 50% deposit with another 25 percent set at an agreed upon date and the balance due on completion. What is the average cost and time period for a car to be complete?
There are simply too many factors to give an accurate estimate without seeing the car and understanding the requirements and circumstances. This can vary depending on a few factors: frequency of payment, availability of parts (original or new)how many custom pieces need to be made, the volume of jobs that are in the shop, etc… The thing to remember when dealing with restoring a classic car is it takes 30 days to build a Rolls Royce and it takes 13 hours to build a Toyota. The question you have to ask yourself is do i want a car that purrs like a Rolls or a vehicle with the fit and finish of an assembly line vehicle?
